a Ballet Shoes DVD Competition!
Winner to receive Ballet Shoes DVD featuring exclusive
material, deleted scenes and an interview with Emma
herself!
Since this is a text driven website, we thought it
fitting to ask you for your thoughts.
You’re used to hearing us rant hysterically, let us hear
you.
Write 1-2 paragraphs (in English) describing what Emma
means to you.
For instance: What has she done for you? Has she helped
give you confidence? Or hope in the younger generation?
Is she a good role model? Why? Why you think she totally
rocks, why she's better than those other celebrities, is
she an inspiration to you and others, will she have a
long and illustrious career, how so? Is she mega-talented
or just stupendously-talented?
Don’t be limited by those ideas, they are mere
suggestions to help if you’re stumped. The paragraph
should be Emma related though.
If you are not a writer, fear not!
You may also submit a drawing or graphic. We’ll accept
any shape or size, but please keep it to .PNG, .PDF,
.JPEG/.JPG files. If we can’t open it, we’ll ask you to
send it again.
Image must be Emma/Hermione/Pauline centric. Can include
other characters, but must feature most prominently Emma
or her characters. (Feel free to throw in Princess Pea if
you’re feeling particularly animated.)
Please understand that the image may have to be resized
for the purpose of posting to the site or sending in an
email. If the image is greatly affected by the resizing
process, we will do our best to notify the artist.
I know my readers are the classiest, most intelligent
fans out there so it doesn’t need to be said, but I
expect all entrants to be dignified and respectful. We
will not support any paparazzi shots or anything vulgar.
Any entries who do not respect Emma will be forfeit, we
will report you to Internet watch groups and you may even
find yourself in the DA’s Azkaban Prison.
We reckon Emma might like to know how much she means to
you. The submissions might be shared with Emma's Official
site, unless you specify otherwise.

Ballet Shoes DVD Contest Rules & Regulations
- One entry per email address.
- Entries must include name, email & mailing address,
and phone number (shipping company requires it) to be
considered valid. - Contest ends August 25, 2008. All entries must be
received prior to midnight on the 25th (going into
the 26th). - Winner will be contacted after August 28th. DVD will
be sent following the notification email (DVD to be
received on or before 2 September). - All entries may be shared with Emma Watson's Official
website. If you do not wish to share your submission,
in your entry email include “Please do not send to
EWO”. - All entrants agree to possible postings to this
website. The winning entrant's name (and submission,
with their permission) will be posted here. Select
others may be chosen to be posted as well. (We will
notify you prior to posting.) - All entries will be reviewed by Caspian and Rilian.
- We will accept entries from other countries as well,
but please be advised that the USA falls under Region
One in the Restriction Code. Please make sure your
DVD player is compatible before entering. - We (Books and Wands.com and/or Caspian and Rilian)
are not responsible for broken and/or non-functioning
DVDs. - Entries must be submitted via email to
rilian@booksandwands.com, with DVD Contest in the
subject line.
