We interrupt the recent Ballet Shoes/Emma news for
a quick Rupert update.
He's having a birthday on the 24th of August. The
DA is putting together a fan present to send to his
agent. If you'd like to participate, click here for
more info.
We(B&W) are having a contest for a free advance
copy of Ballet Shoes. I'm thinking it's going to be
fanart/graphics or a small writing contest (to give
anyone interested a heads up). Probably about Emma,
you know, describe why she totally rocks, draw
her/her characters, or do some Emma/Hermione/
Pauline graphics.

Recently Rilian, our friend, Eyre Hansberry, and I
were sitting 'round the table chatting about
Potter. Eyre so observantly mentioned how she feels
J.K. Rowling has changed since her early Potter
days. In doing so, Rowling has slighted her loyal
fans. This statement led to a very animated
conversation that ended in Ril and I inviting Eyre
to write the next installment of Books and Wands’
Guest Blog. Please be advised, that the opinions
expressed by Eyre do not directly reflect the views

whole thing to be absolutely brilliant. ;)

completely cleaned and made pretty so now I'm in
the process of getting my files back in order.
Shouldn't take too long though. Not to worry.

Fantastic news, kids!
Ballet Shoes is coming to DVD and, in limited
release, to theaters starting August 26th!
I'll follow with more info, but for right now just
know that the DVD gets released on September 2 with
exclusive material and a bonus interview with Emma!

I just realized that maybe that wasn't exactly fair
of me. I didn't give you a time frame so who knows
when I posted before you're viewing, right?
So as of 9:20PM Eastern Time there have been no
correct answers. And I have at least 2, maybe 3,
