July 23 - August 22
Leos are the most dominant, spontaneously creative and extroverted of the Zodiac. They have
the regal bearing befitting a lion, king of beasts.
They are courageous, strong-willed, warm-hearted, independent, self-confident and self-
controlled. Natural born leaders, they excel in positions of command.
Their magnetism and sincere generosity bring out loyalty and the best in their subordinates or
co-workers. Leos are broad-minded and uncomplicated often knowing exactly what they want,
without hesitation or doubt, and use all their strengths, creativity and resolution to get it.
They thrive on adversity and challenges and meet them
enthusiastically.
The Leo is open, genuine, faithful and loving and so are more
disillusioned than most when let down by those they trust.
Not good judges of character, they choose to believe the best of
other’s qualities and may have an exaggerated faith in friends
which can lead to bitter disappointment.
On the negative side, Leos can be extremely arrogant, quick-tempered, self-centered, boastful,
pompous, bombastic and have a disdain for those they view as beneath them and their
perceived “weaknesses.”
Seldom is it that the Leo is overcome by such vices. Even those possessing these qualities of
patronizing, bossy interference and overbearing intolerance have the intelligence to conquer
these wicked tendencies.
A Leo’s dominant personality and strong will are often balanced by their munificence and
kindness.
